Townhouse Barton is a 15th century North Devon farmhouse, complete with many original features, such as inglenook fireplaces, oak beams, entry through the original old church door, and a 16th century dining room ceiling, rumoured to be made by Italian sailors.

Townhouse Barton is a working dairy farm.

As Townhouse Barton is surrounded by open fields, woodland and a river, a wide variety of wildlife can be seen while walking, such as deer, rabbits, buzzards, pheasants and partridges.
